Partnership Program
Get paid to offer your clients a top-tier experience!
Why should I partner with Red Oak Mortgage?
Our 18+ years of excellent service, 5-star ratings, competitive rates, and high-level customer focus means it's safe to refer your friends & family to our team, and get paid to do it! After you become a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, you can help potential borrowers and work with ROM to earn commission from their closings.
How do I become a Loan Officer?
Step 1: Get Licensed!
The first step in becoming a Loan Officer is to get your Mortgage Loan Originator license. The process can seem overwhelming, but we will help you every step of the way. Licensing requires 20 hours of online, self-paced education, a passing score on a 75-question exam, a background check, & fingerprinting. The Red Oak Mortgage team will guide you through it!
Step 2: Help Clients!
Once your license is issued, you’re able to assist your network of friends, family, and their referrals with their mortgage financing goals. You work with our Originations team to complete the initial interview, and we will help you get their loan process started. All of the Processing and Closing efforts will be handled by our team.
Step 3: Get Paid!
Once the loan closes, you get paid! Federal law requires all Mortgage Loan Originators to be W2 employees of the company, so your commission will be paid via regular payroll. Pay plans vary based on experience and volume, but are between 20-50bps per loan. So, our average $300,000 loan amount would earn between $600-$1500 per referral. Not bad!
